Tough times call for a strong City Council
Chicago faces a $400 million budget deficit, the highest sales tax in the country and escalating property taxes. Up to 1,000 city employees could lose their jobs. These are perilous economic times. We need a strong City Council as well as a strong mayor to prosper. Not just a strong mayor.
